Keto Christmas Steak

One sunny day, my family and I decided to have a picnic at the beach. We wanted to enjoy the warm weather and have a delicious meal together. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make my special Keto Christmas Steak recipe.

I marinated the steak with a tangy and flavorful sauce made with herbs, garlic, and lemon juice. The smell of the marinade was so enticing, it made us even more excited for our picnic. As we grilled the steak on the barbecue, the sizzling sound and the mouth-watering aroma filled the air.

Finally, when the steak was cooked to perfection, we sat down on our picnic blanket near the sparkling ocean. The steak was tender and juicy, and the flavors exploded in our mouths. It was the perfect dish for a sunny day, reminding us of the taste of summer. We laughed, chatted, and enjoyed the delicious meal together, creating wonderful memories that will last forever.

Ingredients

  • Beef Porterhouse Steak (8 ounce)
  • Beef Porterhouse Steak (8 ounce)
  • Red Onion (2 tablespoon)
  • Orange Juice (1 tablespoon)
  • Rosemary, Dried (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic (1 clove)
  • Balsamic Vinegar (1 tablespoon)
  • Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Cranberries, Fresh (⅓ cup)
  • Water (½ cup)
  • Maple Flavored Syrup by Lakanto (½ tablespoon)
  • Salt, Sea Salt (½ teaspoon)
  • Black Pepper (⅛ teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Finely dice the onion and crush the garlic. Add the cranberries, onion, garlic, orange juice, rosemary, vinegar, water, salt, pepper and syrup to a small saucepan. Bring the mixture up to a boil.
  2. Reduce to a simmer and stir well. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring often and crushing the cranberries as you go. Cook until the liquid has reduced right down, and you have a thick jam-like consistency. If the mixture looks a little dry, you may add more water as needed.
  3. Just before the dressing has finished cooking, you can prepare the steaks. Heat a skillet over a medium/high heat. While the skillet is heating, rub the steaks in olive oil and season on both sides with salt and pepper. Place the steaks in the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes each side for medium-rare or cook through to your preference. Set the steaks aside to rest for a few minutes, then top each with cranberry relish to serve.
