Ingredients

  • Jumbo Shrimp by Publix (16 shrimp)
  • Allspice, Ground (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Thyme, Dried (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic Powder (½ teaspoon)
  • Ginger, Ground (½ teaspoon)
  • Hot Chili Peppers, Red, Raw (¼ each – approx 4" – 6" long)
  • Cayenne (¼ teaspoon)
  • Salt, Sea Salt (¼ teaspoon)
  • Black Pepper (⅛ teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cover four wooden skewers with water to soak for 20 minutes.
  2. Add the shrimp to a mixing bowl with all the dried herbs, spices, salt and pepper. Finely chop the chili and add to the bowl along with the olive oil. Mix everything well to combine, coating the shrimp in the seasonings. Cover and refrigerate until the skewers are ready.
  3. Thread four shrimp onto each of the wooden skewers. Arrange the shrimp across a shallow baking tray and bake for 6-8 minutes or until hot through.
