One busy weeknight, I had a lot on my plate. My husband Mark was running late from work, and my two kids, Emily and Ethan, were hungry and cranky. I needed to make a quick and nutritious meal in under 20 minutes. That’s when I remembered my go-to recipe for Keto Basic Pork Schnitzel.
To make this delicious dish, you’ll need:
- 4 pork chops
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
First, I pounded the pork chops until they were thin. Then, I mixed the almond flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. I dipped the pork chops into the beaten eggs and coated them with the almond flour mixture.
Next, I heated olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. I cooked the pork chops for about 4 minutes on each side until they were golden brown and crispy. In no time at all, our Keto Basic Pork Schnitzel was ready to be served!
This recipe is a time-saver because it’s so simple and quick to prepare. Plus, it’s low in carbs and packed with protein, making it a nutritious choice for busy families like ours. Emily and Ethan loved the crispy texture and delicious flavor of the pork schnitzel. It was a weeknight hero that saved the day!
