Classic Keto Naan Bread
During our last family holiday gathering, we decided to exchange traditional recipes for healthier versions. It was a fun and exciting event, as everyone was eager to try new dishes. I remember my sister-in-law, Lisa, bringing her recipe for Classic Keto Naan Bread. We were all curious to see how this healthier version would turn out.
As we gathered around the table, the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air. My husband, Mark, couldn’t wait to give it a try. He took a bite and his eyes lit up with delight. “This tastes just like the original!” he exclaimed. Emily and Ethan, my two children, were equally impressed. They loved the soft and chewy texture of the naan bread.
Here’s Lisa’s recipe for Classic Keto Naan Bread:
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, and almond milk.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease it lightly.
- Scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet and spread it into a round shape.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Our holiday recipe swap was a success, and we all left with new healthier recipes to incorporate into our daily lives. It was a wonderful way to bond as a family and support each other’s journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
